Franklin Main Street Festival

On Sunday, we went to the Franklin Main Street Festival with Lindsay and Stefan.  It was a really hot day, and we got some frozen lemonade to help with the heat.  Andrew insisted on trying some and made a huge pucker face with each sip.  He kept wanting more though, so it must not have tasted too bad!  

Family Fellowship Festival

On Friday night we went to a family festival at my brother's church.  They had a great crawl zone with lots of mats and tunnels for the kids to play in.  Andrew had a blast climbing around and he thought he was being pretty sneaky going up the slide (instead of down it).

Andrew pulled up in his crib for the first time this morning.  He was SO proud of himself!  I grabbed the camera as fast as I could and was able to get a couple shots of him.

March of Dimes Walk

As you all know, Andrew was was a preemie when he was born, so the March of Dimes is an organization that is close to our hearts.  We decided to do the March for Babies this year, and my mom, dad, and Stefan were able to join us as well.  It was a really rainy day, with predictions of hail and thunderstorms, but thankfully it only rained for the beginning of the walk.  We all wore Vanderbilt Children's Hospital shirts to honor the place that has become so special to our family.

This past week we had an absolutely gorgeous day here, so we had to get outside and take some pictures.

Easter Weekend in Indiana

We drove up to Terre Haute and spent Easter weekend with Josh's family.  On Saturday, Andrew went to his second egg hunt, which was about as successful as the first one.  He sat in the grass and studied the shape of the eggs again.  We had beautiful weather all weekend though, and we were able to get some great pictures outside.

Andrew's First Easter Egg Hunt

While this was Andrew's second Easter, it was his first year of egg hunting.  We think he was a little confused by the not completely round shape of the eggs. He spent most of the afternoon studying the two eggs in his hands instead of looking for more in the grass.  Thankfully, Lily Catherine (Andrew's cousin) was nice enough to share all of the eggs that she found with him.

Little Sports Fan

Andrew is already taking after Josh with his love for sports.  We think he liked playing with the basketball since we're still in the middle of March Madness... 

Playing Outside

Now that spring is here, we've been playing outside a lot.  Spring in Tennessee is always so beautiful!  We've been going on a lot of walks, and Andrew loves playing on the swing at the park by our house.  He always laughs the whole time he's swinging.
