Visiting with the Kelleys

While we were up in Indiana, we had dinner with our good friends the Kelleys.  They have a son, Will who is a week older than Andrew.  It was really cute to see the boys play together--the last time we all got together they were only 6 months old.

Father's Day Weekend in Indiana

We spent Father's Day in Indiana with Josh's family.  Andrew really enjoyed all the attention from everyone and he did a lot of showing off.  The penguin he has in his left hand in the first picture was his favorite toy up there.  He had it in his hands literally the entire time we were visiting.  He actually got very good at even crawling with it in his hand, and he even got a bit of a rug burn on his knuckles.  We think he was very sad to say goodbye to the penguin at the end of the trip.

Playing with Lily Catherine

While Cate was getting ready for Lily Catherine's 2nd Birthday party, we had LC over to play.  As always, she and Andrew had a blast!

More Frog Lovies!

As many of you already know, Andrew loves frogs.  He has become especially attached to his frog lovie, which he needs for every nap and to go to bed at night.  We decided that the three lovies we owned were not enough (since we already have one in each car, and one in his crib--we know its ridiculous), so I ordered three more the other day.  As you can tell, Andrew was very excited about the new ones when they arrived.

Pool Day

Yesterday, we went to the pool with our friends Lisa and David, and their son Everett.  The boys had a lot of fun playing in both the baby pool and the "big" pool, and we're pretty sure Andrew just thought that he was in some really big bath tubs!  He also seemed to think the water was for eating, because he kept trying to pick up a handful and put it in his mouth...

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day this year, we went out to dinner to celebrate.  For some reason, Andrew didn't seem to get "the memo" that it was Mother's Day because he spent the day saying only "Dadada".  Maybe he'll only say "Mamama" on Father's Day...
