Little Man Faces

From the beginning we have called Andrew "Little Man" because of his very grown-up facial expressions.  His affectionate nickname by some is "the Judge" because he always seems to be studying people.

Andrew Meets Lily Catherine

Just a couple days after we got home, Cate brought Lily Catherine over to meet Andrew.  She was very interested in him, and kept wanting to touch his face.  At times she was very sweet, but as we all know 9 month olds don't know their own strength.  A couple times I think Andrew got a few "bonks" on the head.  Amazingly he slept through them all.  And while we were up in the nursery that day, you can see the picture of what our dogs were doing outside. Thankfully Josh and my mom took care of hosing them down.

Bringing Andrew Home

After a 16 day stay in the Vanderbilt NICU, we were SO excited to bring Andrew home.  He slept during the entire car ride, and he met Jake and Lexi once we got home.  They took to him right away, and spent most of the afternoon "guarding" his crib while he slept.

Andrew's Birthday

From the beginning, Andrew has kept us on our toes.  He surprised us by arriving two months early, on March 14th, 2008.  He weighed only 3 lbs. 13 oz., and was 15 1/2" long.  We immediately thought he looked like his Daddy--head to toe!  We appropriately named him Andrew Joshua, since he is a mini version of his Daddy.
