Pumpkin Patch 2010 (continued)

Here are some more pictures from the pumpkin patch. Due to the size/quality of the photos, I can only import five per post.

Playing in the wheat trough... No Auntie Lindsays allowed! :-)

Maybe I was a little bit of a pumpkin hoarder...

Pumpkin Patch 2010

We have an annual tradition to pick pumpkins at Gentry Farm with Randy, Cate, and the girls. We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday, and we had a beautiful fall day for our outing. We picked our own pumpkins, and then went to the Activity Zone for the kids. They all went through the hay maze, rode on the tire swings, played in the corn & wheat troughs, and also played on the playground. We had a great time, and are already looking forward to next year!

I like this pumpkin...

My cousin was so helpful navigating through all the vines at the patch.
(Cate made the outfits for all the kids--she is amazing, and they were all SO adorable!)

Counting pumpkins is fun!

Look how big I am!

Another Zoo Day

Yesterday we went to the zoo again, mostly because they have a new flamingo exhibit, and Andrew LOVES flamingos (this, of course, stands to reason because he loves the color pink). We went with my mom (who was watching the girls for the weekend), and with Josh's parents. It was a great trip because the adults outnumbered the kids by one, which we decided was the perfect ratio for a trip like this! :-)

Andrew would have never sit in the wagon by himself, but he and LC road in it a lot.

All three kids checking out the meerkats.

Such big helpers...

Mickey & Minnie!

We weren't sure how well meeting Mickey and Minnie would go... Being 2, we figured Andrew might be a little scared of them. When we asked if he wanted to go see them though, he got very excited. He definitely didn't want to give them hugs, but he was good with a high five, and he was all smiles while he got to spend time with them. He also LOVED the parade--we had great seats and we got to see all the characters up close as they walked by. I think Andrew is definitely a Mouseketeer now!

Taking a break on the bench with Daddy. I held my Mickey and my pink flamingo almost the whole time we were at the park!

Family picture with Mickey...

Waiting patiently to see Minnie...

All smiles for Minnie--look I found your nose!

Passed out in my animal jammies with all my favorite Disney characters after a loooong day!

Animal Kingdom!

Andrew loves animals, so we decided to go to Animal Kingdom while we were down in Orlando. We rode on the Kilimanjaro Safari twice, walked the animal trails in Africa and Asia, spent some time digging in the Boneyard in Dinoland, met Mickey and Minnie, and also saw the parade. It was a hot, but really fun day, and Andrew was a total trooper (especially on no nap!).

I want to make sure we get to see everything while we're here...

This picture was for you Uncle Felix!

I love this huge sand box!

Very serious digging...

Quack! Quack! Quack!

We were fortunate enough to get away for a family vacation over Labor Day weekend. We flew to Orlando to enjoy some much needed relaxing time together as a family. We stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacation Resort by Sea World, and we had a great time. We enjoyed the pool, and Andrew loved all the kid activities they offered. He even let Mommy and Daddy get a little shopping done at the outlet mall close by (They had a North Face outlet--it was awesome!). Here are a few pictures from one night when we went down to feed the ducks...

Helping Daddy call all the ducks over...

"Here you go duckies..."

Ducks are so funny!

I can be a duck too! "Quack, quack, quack..."

Maybe I'll join them for a swim too... Hmm... ;-)
